A glimpse into my personal insanity

This blog was inspired by a person I've never met, but enjoy talking to over Facebook. Thanks Kim! Once upon a time, a loooong time ago, I was very shy. Take from this what you will, but I was! I swear it! From elementary all the way to high school, I tried very very hard to blend in with my surroundings, I didn't want to be noticed. I would never try to make a joke to make a group of people laugh, and if I found more than one person at a time paying attention to me? Oh man, I almost died. There was no me back them... I was a wallflower. But now? I LOVE being the centre of attention. I enjoy making others laugh, I like telling stories and sometimes extrovert doesn't describe me. There are times in life when you take a leap and hope for the best, my time? When I attended SAIT from 1998 - 2000. :) I sort of figured, hey, nobody knows me here, why not? Did you ever have that feeling? You know the one I'm talking about, and no, get your mind out of the gutter, it's not a DIRTY feeling... that's an entirely different post! Hehehe... No, I mean that feeling when you've accomplished something? That feeling of, yes, I did it! Or, yes... I can't believe I did that! Well, that's me. I set out to lose 80lbs. I thought at first I would go for 100, but you know, I think 80 for me is a better goal. Don't ask me why. A lot of thought went into that number, so I'm going to stick with it... at least for now. Hehehehe... Well, I'm half way there! YAY! I'm so way beyond happy, I'm more than ecstatic, I'm just... wow... yup, that's me... wow. I hardly recognize myself sometimes. But more than that, I'm like THIIISSS much away from being lighter than I have been in almost 10yrs. Can you believe it??
